I needed a smile and my son sent me this. They're at home enjoying while I'm working.

I love seeing such bright colors on a cloudy, dreary day here.

Our blooming Pieris a couple of weeks ago until last week’s frost got to them.

Here are my overwintered amaryllis (amarylli?). I stored them in November and checked in on them two weeks ago. They gifted me with these beauties. The fading one had 6 flowers on it. I have 2 more bulbs in storage which aren't showing any signs of growth yet, so I'll be able to delay potting. After the blooms die I pot them up in one large pot outdoors until fall.

Looking forward to sitting here with a cup of coffee.

Flowers! What flowers? You messin' with me? Two days ago, I had a foot of snow cover. Much of it melted by tonight, but there are still piles existing from past shoveling. Getting rain tonight. New temporary street signs went up today. Those read: Load Limit, 6 tons. Hooray! I get to see the ground again tomorrow.
