Patio doors w/ blinds integrated in the windows?
Comments (4)I have them in my whole house and absolutely love them. My house windows and atrium doors are Pella with the blinds between the glass, but in the garage and workshop they are another brand (something we ordered from Home Depot or Lowe's I believe.) They are wonderful, mine can be raised all the way for an open glass look or just left down and tilted open or closed as you like. No blinds or cords for the dogs and cats to mess with, and they stay clean. Much easier to clean a glass door or window than to keep blinds or other window coverings clean and in perfect shape with busy "critters" around (whether they have two or four legs.) Comments (13)I'm not installing them myself, as I did the online window blinds. I'm buying them from Home Depot, so the onus is on them if there's an issue. The contracted company that is doing the measurements is doing the installation. They will be inside mount and as far as the stacking, it will be a non-issue. It's a three panel slider but it was a custom installation...the panel on the right is fixed. The center and left panels slide left and are "hidden" behind the lanai wall. Thanks foe the feedback. I will consider the 3/4" cell for better proportion to the large opening. Oh, and no kids or pets in this home :) Tipsy...See Morescreen replacement for our marvin integrity sliding doors
Comments (2)You can contact the company via their website. I did that when I had to replace some weatherstripplng on a couple of window sashes. I was able to buy some from them. Or you could see if their website lists any dealers in your area...See MoreISO alternative blinds for sliding glass door
Comments (10)I have just moved and had the same dilemma in my new home. At first I looked at the Hunter Douglas sheer verticals but they cannot be cleaned expect via an ultrasonic bath...$$$$. But then I found the SmartDrape by Norman. It is individual verticals, half solid fabric and half sheer fabric. They are washable, no clanking with the soft fabric and does the job. What do you think?...See MoreSina Sadeddin Architectural Design
