The three Euonymus species most often found in Ontario are E. alatus, E. europaeus, and E. obovatus. I haven't seen one, personally, but think that yours looks most like E. alatus.

To me that leaf and bud looks like Rudbeckia. What variety I couldn't say unless I saw the flower open. If it opens to a daisy like flower I'm right. If not then post again when it opens. Post anyway and maybe we can give you the variety

There’s always Austrocylindropuntia subulata monstrose, but I don’t think that has a bunch of fuzzies like yours. Fuzzies is totally a botanical term ;). My guess is an Opuntia cross between subulata x vestita. I see it in stores as Austrocylindropuntia ‘Rollercoaster’. What gives it that real snowy fuzzy look is the Austrocylindropuntia vestita. It can take a ton of light/sun all day if you can give it or the new growth will become lanky.
