Curtain rods for corner windows- help!
Comments (5)I have windows that meet in the corner just like that. You ask about getting on rod that is 'L' shaped but you would still need a "center" support in the corner for it to stay up and that would be awkward. I got my rods at Pottery Barn I believe. All I did was buy two rods that had removable finials. I put up two brackets over each window with proper placement and only put the finials on the outside ends having the rods set so they meet in the middle. Really, nothing special had to be purchased. I use rings for the curtains and they meet at the corner without any gap. If you are using curtains with the rod run through them then there would be a problem with the curtains meeting without a gap but that problem could be taken care of with a little cut in the curtain. BTW track drapes are "in" again and with a very updated sleek new look. These may solve someone's dilemma where windows meet at the corner. http://www.potterybarn.com/products/track-rod-window-hardware/?pkey=crods-finials Here is a link that might be useful: They are...See MoreHelp with window treatment for kids' rooms
Comments (10)I'd consider removing the valance and installing blackout curtains, outside mount, over the shade. I think curtains on rings are very very very easy to draw open or closed! DK if this makes any difference, but my kids were very very very early risers around that age...like 4:30/5am. Didn't matter how dark it was in their room LOL! Edit -- I just wanted to add that I really love the window arrangement in that room, it will be fun to see how it turns out when you are finished!...See MoreBay window curtain rod sourcing help
Comments (9)HI, I know i am late commenting on this one, but we are spreading the word about a new bay curtain pole that doesn't have brackets at the corner so you can have eyelet curtains which i think would be perfect for what you are looking for. The pole can hold utp 30kg and is amazing. Your eyelet curtain poles can go around the corners without being obstructed by brackets, this means that you can have a pair of curtains working around the window and then drawing back out of the way. This pole is only suitable for 3 sided bay window. Eyelet Bay Curtain Pole You can purchase the eyelet bay curtain pole below. Comments (7)Hey There: We suggest that you go with blinds or shades for each window individually. A window treatment must be functional at first and looking at your pictures, the new tenant needs privacy and light management. I assume that the bottom window blinds will never be used in the first place but they will allow for light coming in and for privacy.
