Comments (10)Hi. I see that I am not one of the first six to reply. But if you happen to still have some seed packs still available I would love some - either the flowers, veggies, or both. Thanks for doing this!...See MoreNEWBIE SEED PROJECT - MARCH 2017
Comments (97)Hi All, Thank you for your nice comments and love all the photos of what you've got growing. Surgery went well and PT says I'm doing good.. It's been 2 weeks, tho it seems more like 2 months! ha ha! I'm not used to being almost helpless. My family is taking great care of me, I am so fortunate, and watering my plants/seedlings that I DID start/have growing to plant when I can. My stamina is not great, but it takes alot of energy (apparently) to heal. And I"m doing good. I take one day at a time, and know that each brings me closer to having a "bionic knee" that will perform SO much better than my old one! :D Keep the photos coming, everyone! I love to see them, and hear what you're up to, what's growing and how things are coming!...See MoreSEED DONATIONS--Esplly Flowers-NEEDED FOR NEWBIE SEED PROJECT 2018-19/
Comments (20)Hi Val, I'm not technically a GW newbie but haven't used it since I lived in Kentucky a decade ago. I live in Minnesota now and I just moved from a house/garden I worked on for several years to a new home with nothing but a compacted yard, a few scraggly hostas and Lilly of the Valley, and 3 struggling hydrangeas, ack! Unfortunately the sale and move happened so fast I wasn't able to bring any of my plants with me so I'm starting from scratch again. Would be grateful for a starter package of seeds to get a jumpstart on the scope of work I have ahead of me! Not picky, a mix of flowers and veggies, or anything for z4 would be so helpful! Once I get some plants established, I'd be happy to donate back for the next gardener in need! TIA - Angela...See MoreNEWBIE SEED PROJECT - Seeds for Newbies - Dec 2018/Jan 2019
Comments (35)I may have totally missed this, but just in case I haven’t... I am a very new gardener, trying learn and absorb as much as I can over the last couple of years. I am slowly adding to a blank slate of a yard, whenever possible, and learning through successes and failure what I can do. I have never attempted a vegetable garden, but I am hoping i can make that happen this year. I would love any seeds that might be available for vegetable or flower garden. I am zone 7b....See Moremangoapricot (6a)
