I believe that's MINUS 17, Graywings. 34 degrees colder than 17 degrees. Pretty bad. This is March, for pete's sake. I actually thought yesterday, at 17 degrees positive and no wind, was beautiful and springlike.

Hi of -1 predicted. So far we are only to -5.6. -20 on the way to church, which is dang cold actual air temp. We are used to wind chills that cold but this is ridiculous, even for Minnesota!!

As the old saying goes "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb". Old man winter always goes out clawing and fighting. Last year I didn't think he would ever leave. We went from winter to summer and skipped spring. Hope that doesn't happen again this year.

Cold here also, it was -8 this morning at 9 and then the wind came up.

It's 17 out here,too . I just went grocery shopping with my zippered sweatshirt on. Somehow the sun makes such a big difference. I wasn't even cold !

It's supposed to drop into the mid-teens over the next few days. Poor daffodils whose yellow is starting to show on the buds, and the other things that are trying to appear. Typical here in KY...
