You know Monablair, in light of her further actions, I'm gong to stick to my guns, and I'm not going to mutually agree to pull the negative. She deserves hers. I am going to email ebay as flamingo suggested, may not do anything, but at least they will be enlightened of her actions. Also, if I had been this seller, when getting out of hospital/nursing home, I would've emailed the people who I hadn't been able to send their poducts to, apologized with an explanation, and offered to still send what they had bid on. I never even got an apology, and if I had, I would've gladly pulled her negative, and sent her money again so she could send me the book. I still want the book, after all. But instead of an apology, I got a retaliatory negative which included her excuse. That's just wrong. Ok, I'm done. I'll email ebay over the weekend, and will wear my negative proudly..LOL! Some very good advice given. Some points to consider: 1. I did a little research just now and discovered there IS an actual sleep disorder called "Shift Work Sleep Disorder". I've provided a link to a website explaining this disorder and HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading it. 2. Men need to feel financially secure. If they aren't then it definitely affects them negatively...leading to depression. 3. Sorry, but men could get pissy with you, but still want nooky after. Women...a man pisses us off, he's banned from touching us for the night. Keeping him sexually happy will help lessen his tension most definitely. Hate to say it, but the #1 thing most guys complain about not getting from their wives is oral. They'd even take bad oral over no oral. Seriously! Also, they're typically even more happy if they don't have to do any *work* themselves. I know, it sounds shallow and selfish, but it is what it is. Just remember, men are VERY visual, simple creatures so remember that when you're thinking of ways to show him you're still attracted. Little notes here and there are nice, but if you want to stir him crazy...do naughty things. lol Maybe webcam him at work with an unexpected quick "flash" or send a naughty text message to his cell phone with or w/o a private naughty pic. Remember: Guys are VERY visual and simple creatures. 4. Women are intuitive, men aren't. We read between the lines and can identify someone's wants & needs MUCH better than men can. Again, remember...simple creatures. Hinting around to something you want doesn't work often. Guys would rather their lady just tell them than having to figure it out and possibly get it wrong. I'm not saying they're STUPID. I'm just saying they like things simple and not complicated. 5. Be super careful with arguing around the children. This is NOT good. Children are VERY perceptive. How they play with others and how they communicate with you and your husband is reflective of your relationship. Its important they see the 2 of you as a team, respecting each other, not correcting or critizing the other. Its important the 2 of you work out your differences in disciplining privately and decide how the 2 of you will handle child conflicts. Additionally, its CRUCIAL that if either parent's method of discipline begins changing into an unhealthy/possibly emotional abusive manner that the person steps away from the situation...aka an adult time-out. JohnnyLee is correct in suggesting you determine a code word/phrase so if one of you gets a bit out of hand, you've BOTH agreed that the person excuse themselves from the situation. Nikki, your package arrived today. Thank you so much! I didn't do a great job on the picture, but there are 2 packages of beautiful flower stickers, that pretty little notebook that includes a pen, several packets to indulge with beverages (non-alcoholic for all who are picturing otherwise - LOL) and that fantastic cup which I really like - a bright and happy color and such a good size. I often take a cool drink with me in the car on hot days - also in the little baggies there are 2 kinds of anemone and a lily. You made me happy, Nikki. Thanks so much! That was hilarious, Larry. That one's in our playbook, too. Nope, GDW and I weren't raptured. We were out on the fishing boat. Figures. I'm amazingly UN-frustrated with everything this year. I think our potatoes are going to be a bust. I don't care. Which means that NEXT year, if anyone here is planting potatoes, it won't be me. Bumper crop of garlic. Some are enormous. I can pick Contender beans in another couple days; otherwise, just waiting. Heidi--I've never seen so many tomatoes on one plant. Amy! What's Ron making the compost bin out of?? Pictures! Suzanne called yesterday--the milkweed plugs from Monarch Watch arrived. I'll go over this evening to plant them. Where I'm going to plant 32 plugs. . . . that'll be a good trick. lol. I haven't been there in a few days, so it will be fun to see what the plants have been up to. We had so much fun fishing yesterday. Previously we hadn't been finding hardly any shad--hard to catch fish when you don't have bait. Thursday we were out for a while, but we didn't get out early enough, so it was hot and not that much fun. We rectified the situation yesterday--got out earlier, saw shad EVERYWHERE, and we caught 13 perfect-sized catfish in 2.5 hours. First successful fishing trip in 2 years. Actually only one of about 4-5 fishing trips in 2 years. I am so lazy today! I look around and don't see anything that HAS to be done! lol Guess I'll go pick the rest of the garlic and harvest some kale, do a walk-around the rest of the yard.
