Just over 7k for the doors which was the lowest I found. La Cantina was close but Marvin, Anderson, Jeld Wen were all over 10k. I did find that most dealers had no clue about their own products and gave me bogus quotes without really looking into getting me a decent price. I think they assume I am willing to spend big on these, but quoting me $10k when I could really get it for $7k is ridiculous. We are using an authorized installer to work with my GC to install the door...this gives me peace of mind AND adds an extra year on the warranty from Nana Wall. Hope to write back in two months with good stories about the doors and the instillation!

Thank the lord we have NanoWall. What would the world be like without NanoWall spamming his way on to websites ! Everyone else has to follow the rules regarding spam but NanoWall somehow does it anyway. Next time i find a small pencil mark on my wall, Im going to call the pro’s at NanoWall to erase it.

The SP casement locks are not ergonomic at all and require some force to close, thereby causing some discomfort to the hand when using the force required because the piece is not a comfortable shape. It also protrudes from the window frame quite a bit, making it a little challenging to have blinds which have to clear the frame. This is what I figured out about the casements. Roll in window with the handle until the window is almost closed. Then throw the lock. That pulls the window closed all of the way. Once the window is latch and locked, loosen up on the handle a bit, fold it in and the blinds will fit OK. But it's a known fact about blinds and casement handles. What size do you have? Ours are 2.5" wide. I was not really happy with the quality of the pre-painted finish or the quality of the cheap pine frame which truly is not very durable, but I don't really see what recourse I have at this point. Are you talking about the window frame...the part that wraps around the window? Did you order the narrow or wide frame? "Available in narrow & wide sash size." Or are you talking about the faux dividers over the glass? We ordered ours an inch wide. They come more narrow as standard. I do wish that I had stuck with my first thoughts and ordered the 1.5" divider. The rep talked me out of it.

Similar thing here, on east coast and looking for a 4 panel stacking door for a 12’ wide opening. Looking at Nanawall and Marvin. Local to us, Marvin has excellent rep and service and installation, I would likely use them if for no other reason than I would hope they would be responsive to any problems or service calls, and would send out help to make sure it was being installed correctly. I don‘t know how nanawall would handle this without a local source. Marvin has helped with every little problem ever, but I don’t know if Marvin is making the stacking doors themselves.
