I have a severe case of spring fever - you?
Comments (8)I got it bad, too. I started a bunch of seeds about a month ago, and i'm starting more now. Hopefully when(if?) this winter ends I will have some pretty substantial veggies started. The ones from a month ago are starting to take over the space under my light and a couple potted bamboos are taking up the rest. As soon as the weather heats up enough to move those outside there will be plenty of room for more veggies, but for that to happen we need at least SOME days above freezing!...See MoreSpring Fever
Comments (6)Thanks hostas_for_barb & don.... I'll check the list, but I've used it in the past to pick my hostas from so unless there are a few that are "new"........ Mojito might be pretty - I have a yellow and some blue in the area as well (blue ivory and sunpower as well as orange marmalade, tropical dancer and captains adventure). LOL So many choices :D My Facebook Album...See MoreSpring Fever
Comments (52)Every place has its good points and bad. Have lived in the South and in the islands. Heat and humidity doesn't suit me so summers in such areas are rough. Also miss having seasons in such places (and green Christmases do absolutely nothing for me). There are times I envy the plants that can be grown outdoors in such places, but there are plants we northerners have that they can't grow and our autumn colors are superior. :-) This time of year, I hit a couple orchid shows for a nice uplifting "fix"....See MoreSpring Fever
Comments (9)One thing I never understood is it's advertised as 10hp but the engine is really 8-1/4hp. It's a bit underpowered with the tiller when busting harder ground but always gets the job done and has been a workhorse. The locking differential is great too....See Morestupidlazydog CT zone 5b/6a
