Comments (25)Turkeys live in the woods where I used to ride my horse. One day we were riding along (I usually lead since Teddy was the bravest horse!) and a whole family of turkeys came out of the brush, running down the trail!! Two parents and about 5 babies were running on ahead of us. We just stopped and let them settle back into the bushes. two years ago today my two sisters and I were at the Frankfurt airport. The one in the middle lives in Germany, the one on the left in Australia... and you know, I live in Oklahoma.

This is from The Old Port Festival - an annual event. There's a funny little parade and many music stages throughout the area which is closed to traffic for the day. This colorful character is one of many from the Children's Theater.

4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoSnow in the Santa Ana Mountains seen from Newport Beach, taken as I was driving on MacArthur Boulevard today. It's really hard to take pictures and drive at the same time...:-o. I loved the juxtaposition of the palm trees against the snowy peaks.
