Your current porch light is great! I really like the contrast. Brushed nickel could look good too, I think white would be a mistake, it would blend in instead of adding some fun!

We were out kayaking today south of you on the Gulf Coast. The waterfront house that caught my eye was the one painted a lovely light pink with white trim and a charcoal roof.

I agree with the above posters- I like the current white that you have it works great with your brown roof and the black windows.

What is the railing for on the left? is it against the house or is there something in between? Lovely house and I think a trellis or pergola with beautiful flowers over the garage would be nice and are you putting some tropical plants in the circle up front in the driveway?
