I too like the idea of the brown floors and couch, with a light rug to break it off. However I'm concerned that this particular model won't look nearly as good on brown as on the lighter colors. I'll attach a photo of a similar model so you can see what I mean. I don't think it's the color itself, but the styling that makes it look a bit weird to my eyes. Is it just me, or does something about it seem... off? Oh, and two more questions: the size is 310x260 cm (122x102 inches) do you think that's too big for the space? And last, price wise we're talking around the $5k mark, do you think that's too much? Like I said before it does seem a bit steep to me, but I have no experience shopping for couches really :) However it is one of the more expensive ones from the one I've looked at, but seemed to be on par with other italian brands on leather... As far as comfort goes, what I really like about this couch is that it has a system where the back support goes all the way to the back, and transforms the regular sitting area into a mini-chaise long, so to say. It's very comfy, for sure. Your comparing apples to oranges. The link is to a high-end reupholstery business. The manufacturers you pointed out are middle to lower end, for quality of materials including fabrics. A high-end upholstery shop will take days to build a sofa, using only the best materials and meticulously in every bit of quality. A sofa using Lee as an example will be built on a "paid by the production" line by trades-persons that specialize in each phase, from frame assemble - springup- cutting of fabric- sewing- inside upholstery and trim upholstery. If you add up the total price paid to these 6 different persons to build one sofa it will be around $100.00. They dont have time to spend to get anywhere near the same quality and attention to detail as the high-end reupholstery business will have. Their are less expensive upholstery shops in just about any part of the country and with purchasing fabrics from a local or online discounted fabric stores, you can easily get a much better quality sofa at a lower price when re-upholstering. Thats even comparing the fact that todays sofa frames are made from stapled together plywood. Your older sofa from 15 or so years ago will be solid hardwood frames with double-doweled construction. With much better spring construction. They dont make them like they use to is true for most upholstery manufacturers now.

There is a reason it is hard to find there is no way for seating in the corners with only 2 seats between the corners. Forget the sectional and get a sofa and 2 chairs instead.
