Comments (12)instead of the black, have you thought about bronze? and instead of beige, why not do a dark charcoal or black trim? I think if you got your black window it would tend to tie it together better than beige and the one odd black window. ya know? I have a similar style home. Comments (16)Can you post a picture of the back of your house? What about white windows? Maybe paint the portico posts and porch railings white as well? The first image is similar. That might allow you to use the black door if you really like the look of a black door. Not sure how it would look with keeping the soffit color the same, but just throwing out ideas! The second image is a house with similar colors as yours, with a black door, which looks nice too. Comments (4)thank you for the responses. i know every house is different, but i just wanted to know if there was a general trend or rule against it. i think it would look good in my house. i will have the paint done first and then try out. couple of pictures. . paint color will be changed to cloud white.
