Windows Design Dilemma living room

Need Help - Window Treatments - Living Room Slider & Side Windows

I'm stuck and have no ideas. I have a large slider and two fairly small side windows and I don't know what to do. The view outside is lovely except in the winter when the woods behind my house are sparse, but it's still an okay view. I've attached a picture and am open to any ideas. I will say I've never really a fan of vertical blinds because I hate the noise when there's any wind in the room, but perhaps there are now better products worth another look. Any and all help is appreciated.

Just say no to vertical blinds. I would do drapery- either continuous rod all the way across or drapes in center with same fabric Roman shades hung at same height on smaller side windows

I would mount a rod from wall to wall, and use 4 long drapery panels the wall areas. You will maintain your light but it will soften the room. Similar to this photo

Hi. Your window is much prettier than mine. Mine is plain. The smaller window you have to the far left looks similar to what I have on either side of my slider, only mine are a bit larger. I don't know how to post pictures, but I will see if my husband can help me with that when he gets a chance. You can do the panels On the slider which can be pulled aside (they can on windows too) for unibstructed view when opened. It’s also acceptable to shutter the windows with panels and then just place panels on slider. I would do three full panels testing the two windows as one large one. Have them shuttered that way as well so it’s not as choppy. The space between the slider and window i would do one double panelto dress both sides. Or you can do a natural woven shade or roman shade on double windows that pulls up and down. Neither of these will give you view unless opened all the way. Maybe if we saw more of the room we could tell you which would best suit the space.

Hunter Douglas makes a couple different shade product lines that come in co-ordinating fabrics/colors in both a horizontal and vertical version. These vertical options are not going to be the traditional PVC clanky, vertical blinds most are used to.
