Anyone from zone 6 or 7 have any luck with lycoris radiata bulbs

Its pretty much borderline hardy over here and right now all their foliage is starting to turn into a pale color and leaves easily rip when I pull it gently. The foliage looks soft and rotty. Just last week was all green and nice though.. We haven't had any snow cover and the other night it got down to 2 degrees F but these things should be hardy to at least zone 6. Some of them also don't completely send out their foliage, like less than an inch of foliage out the ground. I don't know, are these bulbs meant to thrive over here in zone 7a? Its been a wet winter but since these bulbs aren't dormant in winter I don't think it would cause rot?
