Your experience with Visual Comfort Antique Nickel Finish?

I am choosing between the VC Antique Nickel and Polished Nickel finishes for kitchen light fixtures. I have seen the Antique Nickel in 2 examples.

The first example, on this fixture, was a light somewhat shiny finish:

The finish on the second fixture was darker and mottled

Does anyone have the VC Boston Pendant with Metal Shade in the Antique finish and can speak to how dark and matte or light and shiny the fixture is? Any owners of the Nickel finish in this fixture?

I am concerned that the Antique Nickel might be too dark and matte to go with my Polished Nickel Faucet and Top Knobs hardware.

For reference, these are images of the fixtures I am considering. The Boston Pendant looks much darker than the example I posted above of the table lamp.
