Restoration Hardware vanities?? Overstock.com vanities??
Comments (6)Re: Restoration Hardware - I have purchased a large, dark brown framed mirror from them, a surface mounted wooden medicine cabinet, much of my cabinet hardware and two Bistro Wall Sconces just arrived. I've also seen a lot of their furniture in their Short Hills NJ mall showroom. I am impressed with the quality overall; it's not cabinet-maker quality furniture, but it's very nice and a LOT less than having the same items made to order. I haven't personally ordered any of their vanities, and don't think they have them on display in the store either. They look really nice, and are a nice deal considering the sinks and stone tops are included! FYI, there can be an issue with delivery time, if you're in a rush. My sconces were backordered for over a month. Lucky for me, this saved me money since they arrived yesterday and today I got an email from them alerting me to the fact that, among many other items, my sconces are now on sale and they happily credited me the difference when I called. I'd call them to see if it is even possible to have deliver within your short timeframe. Your best bet might be to call around to local bath showrooms to see if they have any floor-model vanities they'd like to sell and see if they are to your taste. (Not likely, but I don't know how else you'll get vanities so quickly.) Good luck to you!! Here is a link that might be useful: Restoration Hardware - Link to Sale Items...See MoreOverstock.com??
Comments (6)We, too, are building with a lighting allowance. We, too, got lots of catalogs from our builder, but I found 90% of our lights online. Coincidentally, I bought a chandelier for my daughter's room on overstock. Shipping was very quick, no issues, and although it is not installed yet, I love it! I have also ordered from bathkitchendecor.com (slow but least expensive), lnt.com (linens n things - quick), csnlighting.com (lightning fast - one day), lampsplus.com (tbd), and lightinguniverse.com (tbd). It's great to have so much variety, but so much variety leads to too many choices. Lots of hours of looking, but all fun! Good luck!...See MoreOverstock.com -Free Shipping on Sinks, vanities, etc!

Comments (10)I've bought a lot of sheets on overstock and love them -- but I can see why you wouldn't be happy with your experience. I have bought 500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets there. They are thick and heavy, and a little crisp which is very pleasant in summer. A lot of people commented on overstock that the didn't like them because they were stiff, maybe not realizing that high thread count doesn't always mean super-soft drape --just very good, durable quality. I would probably love the sheets you got--but I would never describe them or the ones I have as as "sateen". Sateen should be soft, with a somewhat silky finish, and wrinkles should pretty much drop out. Sounds like overstock did a bad job of labelling and I think you are entitled to return your sheets....See More- 7 years agolast modified: 7 years agolisaw2015 (ME) thanked Richard (Vero Beach, Florida)
