large living room wall

Hi everyone,
Looking for some help as to what I can add to a large and fairly empty living room wall. right now, it only has these 3 photos on it...not sure if I should replace them with something else or add something? Thank you!!

The pictures are too small and too high. they would be better stacked or on a smaller wall. One large piece would be better here. But even just lowering these will make a huge impact

The problem I see is the gray wall color that does not go with the brown chairs, and is frankly not an easy color to live with. The pictures also have cool colors and so nothing ties in with the chairs and floor. The light beige rug is also wrong with that wall color. If possible, repaint with a warm white and then you'll have a background that will harmonize with everything else. Try pillows with rust and navy patterns instead of what you have now to give this space some life.

I think what's putting me off is that the wall color conflicts with the stones in the fireplace. If the walls were a grayish color the large empty space would not seem so prominent. I'm afraid the console color doesn't help in that regard also. The rather cluttered fireplace and console also help to make the upper area look even more empty. This space needs more unity for it to make sense.

There are lots of blogs and photos online that give instructions on how to create a wall display using a lot of pictures. So far I have had to do four such walls. I lay them out on the floor. You want to create a balanced look, and also visual harmony. You can also make paper cutouts of the picture sizes out of kraft paper or posterboard and tape them to the walls to try out various shape/size arrangements before you commit to nails in the wall. Once you find a layout you like, you can mark the spots for the hanging hardware with pencil. It's time consuming but the pleasure of having the finished product makes it worth it.

JudyG Designs - Unfortunately the room is Not large enough to have the chaise part of the sectional along the wall. (Wanted the same layout but doing so puts the couch almost touching our wood burning fireplace - yikes!) I will definitely check out Etsy (love them)! I did not know I some vendors would suggest a grouping if I provided a photo - that is great! Thank you again :-)
