What color should I paint my new kitchen? GR is Nomadic Desert.
In the process of remodeling kitchen. The adjoining great room is Sherwin Williams Nomadic Desert. Here is an example I found on Houzz of the exact color of my great room and pretty much my entire 1st floor:
My new cabinets will be white. I have white trim and white doors in my house. I will have black hardware and industrial lighting. Black Pearl Leathered Countertops.
This is not my kitchen but a very good example of what I am getting.
What color should I paint my kitchen walls? Would Sherwin Williams Kilim Beige work? Here is an example I found on Houzz of that paint color:
Any suggestions would be appreciated - thank you!

4 years agoThis is strange but I just had my husband paint our master and guest bedroom. I wanted the desert nomad in the master and kilim in the guest but I wasn't home and he swaped them. i like the desert nomad better. The kilm is lighter than I wanted. The living area of our house is Valspar "smoked oyster" which is darker more brown gray. I like a grayer look myself.

Nomadic Desert is one of those warm neutrals that will go with any color, and IMO, it doesn't make any difference if it's warm or cool. Comments (9)Those countertops are tough. I don't care for either paint color in your photos but but original is definitely better than the Sea Salt. I like pink and grey together, though - have you considered playing up the pink with accessories and painting the walls a very pale, crisp true grey? I'm not familiar with all the brands and colors like some of the experts here, but Benjamin Moore Greytint or Grey Cashmere might work, or Sherwin William's Passive....See Morewhat color should I paint the walls in my new kitchen?
Comments (5)Aha we must have posted at the same time. I’d test a few colors on the walls, but if you want a nice light gray that has no undertones I can recommend Classic Gray by Benjamin Moore. I tried about 10 grays and that one was perfect for a cool toned kitchen....See MoreDyan Weis

4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoit is definitely lighter than the nomatic desert but still a contrast against white. This is it in my master next to the door. It is always safe to pick a color on the same sample strip
