Never done it but I would think they would be very fragile. Crumble into dust? Kale has a more extensive rib development. JMO Dave

We don't really care for kale chips but love zucchini chips and use basically the same recipe. But the fine grind sea salt will measure very differently from coarse kosher salt so did you cut the measurement in half? Either way the amount of salt is optional so you can reduce it to taste. Another factor is the amount of kale used since so many of the recipes give such vague instructions like "2 large bunches" and leaves you to guess what constitutes a large bunch. :) So the same recipe you used may well be very good with an increase in the amount of kale and less salt. Haven't made kale chips, but will have to try. I have been using the Trader Joe's bagged kale in my green smoothies. I use a frozen banana, a scoop of vanilla protein powder, some low cal juice, and lots of kale. It's a beautiful green color, and tastes yummy.

Kale chips sound good...I tasted "homemade" sweet potato chips last night....quite tasty! Phil (DS) sliced them (I think they were partially cooked), sprinkled olive oil, lightly salted & "secretly seasoned", baked then broiled them. Addy Kay had to have Ranch Dressing for hers....she is a "dipper"!!!
