Need help with wallpaper & accent wall for my basement

I am thinking of putting the muted grey wallpaper on my accent wall but i feel that i could do better. Please help with ideas. What do you think about the colors below?

What kind of room is this and what is it used for? I like the palm tree wallpaper, and I like the green, but without windows or natural light it might be too dark.

It’s the basement, L shape with very long walls, 30ft facing 16ft, 12ft the furtherest, 20ft facing 19ft. The small area will be used for kids playroom with a air hockey table and black chalkboard and the large area Will have a leather seating and tv. I’m concerned that it will look too big for my furnitur. Thanks for your help

Work with the green of the upstairs paper. Can’t find exatly what I am looking for: a simple stripe, but something on this idea. Reconsider doing the espresso on the stairs, and painting risers and treads the same color as your woodwork. Again, not your colors, but white stairs wth darker runner and dark walls.

I’m thinking three dark walls. This is B.M. Nocturnal Gray, but just a guess to colors in the paper. You do need some blue undertone to work with what I call the “mean” west light. My go to for west light is Patriotic White, so I moved down the strip to find something darker. This color would show great with the white crib, and you could add a white rug on the floor, and a white lamp on the dresser.

I know, you didn't ask about other parts of the room. The photos showing blue paint are nice, but I'd photoshop various transitional rugs. Seems a foundation would be better than wall changes. Soft blue imo is a tad delicate with much white. What about a soft teal, or green?

I would lighten the green (same color just lighten by 50%). I like the paper, I think it’s fun.
