That photo looks great. :O) I'm not sure if I know what you mean, but I just saw a kitchen with cream cabinets glazed with a brown glaze, and the molding at the top of the cabinets (not crown molding in the room, but the actual top molding on the cab's) was a dark brown stained wood. My goodness, it was gorgeous! I know it's the reverse of what you appear to be asking, but I still think the opposite would look great too. I'm having a similar dilemma as you with trim thru the house... can't decide if I want stained doors and trim or painted whitish doors and trim. Well, I know I want wood doors/trim on the main floor, but they are more than 4 times the price as a painted door. And I really would prefer white trim/doors on the 2nd/3rd floors, but the 2nd floor doors are visible from the first floor. Decisions, decisions. Best of luck as you choose. FWIW, I think the white trim sounds great for your home, even with oak cabinetry. :o)

rmancuso - I just finally got samples of a bunch of quartz and brought it home with the ikea door to see in my apartment. Glad I did - I took the london grey, along with some of the recommendations above and some other randoms. I ended up liking the london grey the best! It doesn't look the same in an ikea showroom as in your home. Also I find the quartz was more grey/beige tone then bright white as it appeared at ikea. On a side note - I like the picture of Jillian Harris's kitchen on the ikea website - there is no where that lists what her counters are. I emailed ikea and they let me know all of the details and they were london grey. http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_CA/SEKTION-kitchen/sektion_inspiration.html?page=2 My biggest recommendation to you is to buy a door at ikes (you can return it) and take out samples of quartz home in your kitchen. Helped a ton!

You might be OK. I'm going from memory here, which is really dangerous, but ... I've spent a lot of time looking at a counter similar to stellar snow (Ceasarstone's Nougat). As I recall, stellar snow, like Nougat, is off-white, and probably is creamer than the off-white ikea cabinets. Is your selection the Grimslov off-white cabinets? Here's a picture I have in my cache of counter pictures that shows stellar snow with what I *think* is an white cabinet; it looks nice. Do you have pictures of the doors and your sample in your house / lighting?

@kel_kat5 How wide is the counter space in each of those three options with the various pantry sizes? How big is your family? I'm considering a 15" pantry which seems quite small in comparison to most I've seen, but I live alone and currently have no pantry at all, so I think any tall cabinet would seem luxe!
