What finish on kitchen faucet?
Want to create a similar look with Ikea Grimslov cabinets to the attached photos, but unsure if we can make a copper/gold faucet work in our setup? Everything about our remodel is a bit neutral so thought we could use an interesting kitchen faucet...Last photo is our kitchen in progress.
Only thing is, above the peninsula we have already purchased Feiss Hounslow oil rubbed bronze glass pendants, so no other copper/gold hardware would be anywhere other than the kitchen faucet.
We we're thinking of a pull down faucet like this:
Copper statement piece? or match the cabinet hardware and pendants with an oil rubbed bronze? or neutral nickel?
Cabinets: Ikea Grimslov off white
Counter: Will be a white-ish quartz with subtle grey/beige marking
Cabinet hardware: Black/dark
Backsplash: Gray/taupe

5 years agoBeverly, I didn't realize that... no, we are not wanting to change out the faucet that quickly.
What about an oil rubbed bronze in this style? trying to at least do something a little interesting...this style can be super tall though and is that too much? Farmhouse sink to be centered on the island.

Comments (4)My current one is Kohler Fairfax in brushed nickel . . . new kitchen will probably be Kohler Forte pullout. I love the finish -- which is what you wanted to know -- It always looks clean, never water-spots; if it looks like it needs cleaning, a quick Scrubbing Bubbles spray does the job. What I hate is the way the Fairfax switches from stream to spray. It's hard to engage -- which is why we we're getting a different one. Comments (5)You do not have to match the faucet to the pulls, unless you like that look. You also do not have to match the faucet to the sink. With your undermount sink, the faucet is surrounded by countertop. I have stained cherry cabs with simple ORB pulls/knobs, ORB pendant over sink, SS appliances, faucet and sink (transitional style). Sayde has a copper hood, antique brass pulls,SS appliances, and a chrome faucet with a white farm sink (traditional style). Many people here use chrome for the faucet, no matter what else they choose. Chrome does wear well. In my experience, I get water spots on any finish....See Morekitchen faucet finish

Here is the best picture I have of our sample, next to some ORB pulls, of course. :-) Bright lighting and close up. I think we may swing by and speak with our cabinet maker tomorrow and see about your suggestions on the dye front, or potentially paint instead of stain. We REALLY like how you can see the wood grain texture in your pictures. I also love your black door trim! We have been planning white trim with tricorn Black doors(Sherwin Williams color).
