Need help with chair selection - color and style
I'm finally putting the room together but need help with the color and style of chairs that I would like to put under/near the windows. The chair sitting there now is only for visual purposes and won't stay (that chair is about 28x28x28 in dimensions)
I plan on putting two chairs there so they can't be big oversized chairs and really should only be 30x30 max in size I think. The couch is black leather and the armchair is a blush pink color. The TV cabinet is a dark teal green. Any suggestions?

Comments (4)Ironcook, eventually I would like to upgrade to stainless, but u are right, the crisp white would look better with the white appliances. I think the white appliances might make the cabinets look dirty if I went creamy, etc. I guess what I am worried about-- how would the crisp white look off the family room with the teak leather couch??? Do I need to bring in white woodwork, etc???? I don't have to keep the armoire. Other thought I could warm up the two spaces with a warm green like BM Sag Harbor Gray or Dried Basil---then I guess I would have to accent with green in the living room and dining room, don't know how I would do that (maybe through pillows?) Not sure if carrying different shades of the green on the color chart might help. 5 years agoFrom what I see, I'd repeat the teal in a more vibrant shade for the chairs. I like these jade velvet ones for their color, texture and sheen. I think they'd feel right at home in your room. They're 30" x 32" and are about 32" high.
Do you have art that can help inform your color choice?
