Moonrise - to be fair - the sun is only half the story.

This is as close as I can come to a sunrise picture today. It has brightened my day!

Here comes the sun or the Mother Ship has landed.

I thought the solstice was on the 23rd. Happy to learn it's today and that the days will now start growing longer.

Playing around with cropping. After removing the streetlight and the building in the bottom of the photo, I think I prefer this one, although part of the windows are lost so there is that to consider.

Sunrise in the Seringetti. The incredible amount of desert dust contributes to the yellow color.

Though not today, I see the sunrise through my front door.
