Comments (14)Hi jasdip, Is yours a locally generated story? You're about as far south in Canada as one can get ... ... unless you move to Windsor - or Kingsville. Or have a Pelee of laughter - this being a joke thread. (Canada's most southern spot is Pelee Island, in Lake Erie). Comments (17)Living in the the countryside 6 mi. from a village (12 - 15 from the city) without a car for a year and a half and city bus coming just to the village ... I tip my hat to that Walmart delivery guy! But he may be less able to get so loaded, if you'll pardon the expression, when he gets to 80+. When I offer some payment from my substantial savings by not operating a car for a year, some accept but many refuse ... so I repeat the offer, asking them to give the money to church or charity, which some accept. I am rather surprised that more than half of the persons giving me rides are female, (seldom of the youngish variety, understandably). ole joyful (forgot that, unless I push "space", the most recent word disappears, in this zzuoH territory, so needed to reproduce joyful-ly - adding one more punch! )...See Moreaok27502
