I'd would have liked to be with my 3rd and 4th Grands (twins) who graduated HS today 2000 miles away. We attended both their older siblings graduations. They were limited to 2 guests each until 5 days ago when they got unlimited guests and it was too late for us to get there

The apples come from Bella Farms and are $5 a bag. They are sold in boxes in the back of an old wooden wagon on the side of Valencia Road. It is the honor system that you will pay. Though we have seen people take a bag and leave without paying. We always pay and leave extra.

Last August I saw this plant growing along the highways in my area. I found it very interesting, as every stem comes from the roots, with no offshoots from any of the stems. As I saw them every weekday during my commute, I started seeing them closer and closer to home. An online search lead me to believe it is called "Telegraph Weed". It does grow very tiny, insignificant flowers, but it's the shape of the leaves and it's growing habit that draw my eye. They stand about 4 feet high. And what exactly is a weed? I like this definition: A weed is simply a plant out of place. By this definition, any plant could be a weed if growing in a location where it is not wanted
