I hope no one is bothered that I am posting a catalog cover, but we enjoy this one so much that we actually keep it on the coffee table on purpose because it makes us smile every time. Bean's often has wonderful dog photos in their catalogs, so that's nothing new, but this one is so "the long suffering attitude" we get from our own Golden that I had to share.

Ha ha. I have a Pinterest fail of one. Mind you, I just used stuff I found in the house. It still stays. Made even the UPS guy chuckle, so that’s Holiday cheer enough.

eld6161 - so true! I met a friend for lunch on Wednesday - it was quite cold and windy. She was late. I sat in in the parking lot for awhile with my car running and the heat for my seat set on High. She apologized and I told her I didn't mind at all. It was very therapeutic for my back!!

We have ice cube trays like that magic laundry basket...you use all the ice cubes and leave the trays in a melting mess on the kitchen sink, and next day they’re magically full of ice cubes in the freezer!

Re the hunting ad in the newspaper. I'm quite sure it was ironic. The phrasing seems to emphasize that meat is meat whether you kill it or bought it wrapped in plastic.

As far as stupidity goes, i'm more worried about the woman who drove into a lake because her GPS said go straight ahead. Happened a few years ago.
