Kitchen renovation - before & after
Comments (31)mcdermdj - Yeah, there must be some kind of built-in limit - I wouldn't think we've got low water pressure, since the sprayer is quite powerful. catmele - Thank you! We bought our countertops from a local shop in Lexington, KY. The quartz we chose (Walnut Luster by Hanstone) was $81/sq. ft. installed, and the total cost (including sink cutouts, edge beveling, delivery, and removal/disposal of old countertops) was $4700. Interestingly enough, though, I learned that most (if not all) of Hanstone's designs have been licensed to Lowe's and are sold under their Allen + Roth brand, albeit with different names - their version of Walnut Luster is called Kelsey Creek, for example. I'm not sure of Lowes' prices - though they should be the same from store to store - nor of the quality of their installation (which probably varies widely), but I know a few people who have had good results from them. Hope this helps!...See MoreKitchen renovation before and after pics!
Comments (31)Thanks everyone! We are really happy with how it all turned out Pensivern, we used SW snowbound..we found that SW alabaster looked too yellow in our house? We had a hard time deciding between snowbound and the SW pure white..tbh I loved them both! So I think you will be happy with the SW pure white for sure! It's so hard to pick...but I learned it's all about the lighting in your house..I think it will all come together just fine for you! Can't wait to see pics!...See MoreBefore & After: 1950 Kitchen & Breezeway Renovation
Comments (32)@Michael P that is actually a very good price! The HGTV shows are a total sham as I'm learning. Projects take many months to complete and cost so much more than they show on TV. I've been completely ruined. LOL. I am under contract on a 1961 brick fixer upper now...have budgeted at least 250K USD and that probably won't go very far. Here in Denver, construction costs have skyrocketed because everyone is renovating and very few homes on the market. Plus construction materials have quadrupled in the last year....See Morekitchen update - before and during - almost to after!
Comments (10)@Kelly Funk thank you!! I agonized that it would be "too much" when I was designing it but I think it turned out pretty well! Definitely lighter and brighter....See MoreStecki Construction
