"how do I eliminate spell check?"...from what??? Your email?...typing in a web page?...a word processor? A little more specificity, if you don't mind.

everything! word, email, typing anywhere. window comes up, and if I don't catch it right away, all writing disappears, I know how to get that back, but why do I have to go thru the misery of spell check taking it away. using 7 as my operating system, been so darn good lately, I have endured long enuf now, would like some results.

Must be some sort of setting. I'm no help at all but have never ran into that at all on various computers with various operating systems.

Have you tried Googling the problem? Maybe you'll find some info.
