Little fighter....If there was a Society Against Cruelty to Plants, I would be in jail. I laid one little leaf of this 'Thanksgiving' cactus on the soil in this little pot 7 years ago. The leaf was given to me by a friend who was in his last days, losing his battle with cancer. This is all it has grown because I neglect it terribly. But it always rewards me with a few blooms during November and again in April in the past 5 years.

After four years, finally!

Lgmd, you will be happy to know those plants thrive on a bit of neglect and actually grow fairly slowly. So it’s the perfect house plant for people like us who don’t want to fuss with a lot of care. I can and so grow a lot of things outside, but these are my favorite indoor plant and all I have with the exception of one small jade plant.

Its bright pink but all I have access to on my phone at the moment.
