Comments (3)The corner opposite the door is going to be difficult to access. I like the idea of a double rod, with some space for long items - but I'm not sure crossing rods in the corner is the best way to achieve that. You won't be able to hang anything in the corner, with a perpendicular rod in the way. Are you willing to do a closet system that allows you to have varying heights on the same wall? Perhaps 2 feet of a single rod, for dresses, and 3.5 feet of double rod. I have a double rod in my closet, and the shirts on the lower one almost touch the floor. I lose floor storage, but I can actually reach the upper rod!...See MoreNeed help arranging (and decorating) small bedroom
Comments (7)I lived in an apt. for three years where the only wall space big enough for the bed in the small bedroom was in front of the window because the other wall was all closet. The bedroom was on the ground floor right next to our shared driveway. I had good light blocking shades....See MoreNeed suggestions about bedroom storage without a closet
Comments (5)Years ago I had an apartment with this problem. I got a bunch of covered Target free standing racks and made covers for them in nice fabric. https://www.target.com/p/whitmor-supreme-clothes-closet-white/-/A-52273623#lnk=sametab Some are so nice, you don't have to make a cover (but this one has more shelves than room to hang - you'll have to get on the internet and do a little searching). Use the words: free standing clothes racks. https://www.target.com/p/home-basics-storage-closet-with-shelving-grey/-/A-81171466#lnk=sametab...See MoreIrene Morresey
