I don't even know the name of the flowers I posted...they were in an outdoor garden and looked so much like small orchids. Maybe someone here can id them?

Oh, yes. I've had one live to be 35 and had to put him down because he had cancer. Have had many live well into their 20's. Some live closer to 40.

Val and Emery are in their mid to late 20's.

Marilyn, I was thinking of you last week. Saw in the news that a shelter needed a home for a donkey. The problem was that he was very bonded with an Emu. So they would have to go together. Really cute story.

Those flowers appear to be Alstroemeria (or Peruvian Lilies) a common flower found in flower shops.

Yes, Alstroemeria. Quite long lasting as cuts. (and available in lots of colors) Lovely!

Bryce is my favorite place ever.

Bryce is so beautiful. It seems so otherworldly.

Lovely photos, nh baskets, but was some processing done or effects applied to the colors? Several of the photos look unnatural.

Elmer, these were taken by my friend who is a professional photographer. Can not say if he did any enhancing, but I do know the colors were vibrant. Having never been to this part of the country, I was amazed at how different each park was. Truly spectacular.
