Comments (15)Look for hotel supply places that sell internationally. It is more common elsewhere that hotel rooms put the complimentary shampoo and body wash in wall dispensers in the shower rather than supplying those dinky little plastic bottles of the stuff. Less waste and less stuff going into landfills. http://www.guestsupply.com/catalog.aspx?id=cff1b722-e7be-45b2-8d3e-91392a36f175&mc=5&sc=09&search=0 http://www.soap.co.za/dispensers/dispensers.htm A lot of places sell in the half gallon size for body wash like the Aveda Rosemary mint body wash: http://www.aveda.com/templates/products2/ spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY10601&PRODUCT_ID=PROD5904 Here is a few gallon size body wash in some nice scents: http://www.instawares.com/entiere-jaboncillo-body-wash.wcs-201.0.7.htm#gallery Here is a link that might be useful: Wall Mounted Shampoo Dispenser...See MoreForm and Content: shampoos and stuff
Comments (6)You've reminded me... below are examples of what I keep thinking I am going to do, wall mounted. As it is, there are ten million shampoo and body wash containers in our shower. And I really really agree, I'd rather have no tops with which to deal. Just push a button and there it is. I see why I am really thinking about it. It's kind of expensive! Comments (33)To the OP, if this has been a somewhat sudden/recent change (that washing your hair is exhausting) you might need to pay a visit to your MD. It sounds from many of the posts that this is not so uncommon as we age, but it also would be a classic symptom of silent heart problems and worth getting checked out. Women tend to have much more subtle symptoms than men, sometimes it can be hard to get our MDs to take them seriously. And, a recent check-up with no signs of trouble is not a warranty. Heart disease is notoriously hard to detect without symptoms. Not that I want to scare you, but I felt it should be said to be on the safe side. Heart disease is still the #1 killer of women, and symptoms like fatigue, an little ache in the shoulder or back, or an upset stomach are so easy to think are nothing....See MoreShampoo
Comments (41)Also, hair sheds naturally, and we all go through shedding periods, that's normal. I think the allegations and investigations on WEN by the FDA had more to do with the abnormally high number of complaints received. Not saying the allegations were/are true, but I remember when women complained about silicone implants, and they went ignored for far too long before anyone did anything about it. I also remember when a medication initially meant for humans but was reported by physicians to the FDA as having too many serious side affects was then targeted and prescribed for dogs by the drug manufacturer to keep from losing money. FDA received an unusually high amount of complaints for that as well and told Veterinarians in the US they had to include "death" as a side effect - many ignored that policy - still do. It's still used on dogs, many with no issues whatsoever, but for one of my dogs as well as a friend's dog (both different breeds, different sizes)... it was their death sentence. I see no reason to jump on the 'fear' wagon, but why take chances if you don't have to? Too many shampoos out there that'll work....See More- 7 years agolast modified: 7 years ago
