Comments (4)I like that brown in your living room. Maybe you can keep one wall as an accent color. The major paint companies have a visualization tool on there sites. I think you have to sign in to use it. It is fun to use. The color I became fixated on is BM Tapestry Beige. Now if I only had a room that needed painting....See MoreHelp living room design help
Comments (28)The house is a ranch 30x60 it had no flow, no hallway, you moved from room to room every room had at least 2 doors in it. It had a load bearing wall splitting it in half long ways. The front door opened into living room, living room had front door, side door and 2 doors into 2 bedrooms. We had a tree fall on our house so we used this as an opportunity to reconfigure the space to include a hallway, enclosed the porch on the side for laundry and pantry, added a vaulted front porch that opens into the foyer. It was a 3/1 that we turned into a 4/2. We needed the bathroom and bedroom more than we needed a bigger living room or so we thought. Here is a before with tree on top. Lol. After is without the tree. We may need to push the the living room and kitchen wall out on the backside of the house....See MoreHELP...living room layout
Comments (9)The sectional is too big but if it has too stay you need to eliminate a lot of the small items in the room. I would take away all the stuff on and around the console. Lower TV to proper viewing height so it doesn't need to tilt which takes up visual space. Smaller coffee table preferably oval. Remove the leather furniture. Nice idea for some chairs at the FP end...See MoreHELP...NEED HELP...Living room rug
Comments (12)Looks like I've got two threads going here. Not sure how that happened. I'm very tired of the orange color in my house due to the logs ..so don't want orange rugs. I'd like to make the room lighter and maybe a light white/ grayish wall paint color and some white airy curtains and a lighter colored rug. I have lots of ppl in my house at times so I don't was pure white. I'm including a pic of a rug I like but I'm not sure if its good in this space. Maybe matching round rug and a rectangle rug would add interest. I'm not liking the shag rugs anymore. Too hard to clean...See Morezuniburn
