Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

What gray color should I paint my house?

This is the house. It is a cream color. My wife and I are pretty set on a gray combo, maybe a little bit of blue. My wife also requested a teal door. We consider our house a contemporary house. I’ve seen a lot of dark gray/light gray combos that I think would look great. Would like some advice.

White as you have, and trim a tone of the roof I can not really SEE well. Palm trees do not suggest a gray or a blue, frankly for the house itself. A mostly glass entry door may look nice. Post some more photos.......closer and other elevations.

Instead of gray think bllue gray, Pleaase, with white trim and favorite color door.

Darker colors exterior are more of a commitment. They notoriously fade quicker and oddly enough retain more moisture. Doubt it will cost more to have painted initially -- but you will likely have to repaint in more frequent intervals. While most people can paint exterior on average every 10 years, you'll probably be at a 5-8 year average. Just make sure your charcoal color is designed to be used exterior. Remember that not all colors can be used exterior. Aesthetically it could be fabulous. Darker colors are more work etc. but often well worth it.

Photos would help us help you. However, in general, if you tend to like neutral rooms but feel a need for a bit of color without going too bright, you can always use a toned down color in your accessories (pillows, table/wall decor, rugs, etc.). That way, you still get the soothing simplicity of the neutral colors you enjoy with a little interesting touch. Another safe and effective way of adding color is by simply adding greenery to a neutral room. In my experience, a few green plants are exactly what a neutral room needs to liven it up a bit.

Thanks again for the input. I tried a color visualizer, but it turns out that I have the artistic ability of a 4 year old on acid. Id love to be able to see some greys or even dark blues and how that would look....(if any of you more creative people have extra time). Thanks again, this community rocks!

Maybe a navy? For paint. And then paint or replace both the garage and front door to a stained brown. Remove the storm door if you can Some other suggestions if you like, you can skip otherwise: Maybe new lighting , definitely landscape. Possibly enlarge the garage and maybe brick up the walkway. I’m sure you considered some of these ideas... cute house. Has potential. Looking forward to watch it change.

I see a pink tone to the roof................and no to the gray paint because of it. I really don't see the house as any gray, sorry

It's currently creamish right now. Do you suggest a bright white, or cream tone?

I was able to get more information on my roof. The shingles are Sand Dune by Owens Corning.
