I’m guessing you want a double sink because you like to stack up dirty dishes in the sink and then you can’t use the sink since it’s a single? Honestly, with a double sink you’ll have more room for piles of dishes in the sink... you will just have them piled on both sides anyway! Ask me how I know!! Lol Decluttering will give you more counterspace. Get a dishrack that sits on a drainboard and put it left or right of the sink on the counter. Wash dishes as you go so you don’t have a sink full. Clean dishes drying in the dish rack look neater than dirty dishes piled in the sink. The stove looks good where it is. It’s nicely centered between the opening above it. You have enough counter. With more counter you’ll have more clutter sitting out. I would come up with a solution for that a/c dehumidifier drain coming from the ceiling above the sink first! The stove looks fine.

Hi !We are renovating the entire kitchen. It's a beautiful sunroom space with high slanted ceiling, lots of sunshine with full wall of windows on East and South side and one on west side. We went for Ikea Axtad White on the wall and parallel is an island which is Axtad Navy Blue.There is a custom ceiling piece and the range hood cover will match that. It's Pine wood white washed with Chantilly lace BM. Countertops are going to be concrete, and I'm thinking a light grey, as light as we can get it. Backsplash tiles are white as well. Lots of white 😬 So my question is for the walls. I was thinking going Chantilly lace for trims and walls in different sheens, (the ceiling is already painted Chantilly lace) and live with that and decide if I want more colour.But part of me wants to try Revere Pewter on the walls, maybe lightened a bit... The adjacent rooms have Pale oak on the walls and chantilly lace for trims etc..If you can spare your thoughts, it'll be appreciated!

“I don’t know how to find a kitchen designer that is not with a cabinet store.” The horror that the ”Pros” on this forum have toward designers who work for cabinet showrooms is exaggerated, illogical, and furthers these ”Pros” own agenda of steering people away from them. There are good KDs that work at cabinet showrooms. In fact, in many areas there is not the level of business for a KD to be on her own. It makes financial sense for a KD to work for a large national cabinet company with its infrastructure, internet presence, showroom and support. Like with any profession, there are good KDs and bad ones. We have seen some crappy designs on this forum by ”independent KDs” as well as good designs from KDs that work within a design showroom. Having said that, I would avoid ”designers” at HD or Lowes. They are not well trained and there is a lot of turnover there. You should meet with a few different KDs - a first meeting is more to see if you two will gel, not to pin down a design at this early stage. Bring photos of kitchens you like so that KDs you speak to will know your taste. You MUST also have a budget in mind - it does not have to be exact, but there is no point in wasting time looking at cabinets that will cost e.g. $70k, when you have $30k to spend. Do not hesitate to speak with KDs who work for cabinet companies. Also keep in mind that everyone is super busy.
