Comments (10)Every year I make tamales at Christmas time. I didn't make as many this year, only about 5 dozen but at least I got them made. It is a big tradition in this area...and I finally managed to get some made. I did it in steps because my stamina is very short lived ... Comments (8)Blast from the past! Snickerdoodles fresh out of the oven. They were a pain rolling into tsp size balls then into cinnamon sugar. Some grew into each other, hence the square-ness. Grows wild all over. Comes both yellow and orange flowered. It can be invasive. So leave it where it is...See More

7 years agoAlso taken in Santa Fe. I can't imagine trying to tame barbed wire to this degree, but I imagine gloves were involved!

7 years agoSummer, is yours where a floral expert does their interpretation of a piece of art? My friend saw an exhibit like that and told me about it. I like yours very much.
Mine is a picture of a whale coming alongside the boat I was on in Alaska.
