What color should we paint our front door?

I am looking for color suggestions for our front door. House is south facing. We've also cleaned up the landscaping since this photo was taken.

Stain will be your friend on a south facing door.

it's a steel door now and currently painted a brick red. if we replace it someday, we'll do a stain... until then, I think our hands are tied.

Denita the front door isn't really visible from the front of the house and I'd rather not post the whole thing. The color scheme is basically the same with the manufactured stone, stucco, and cream colored trim. Hope that helps! Iman, what color blue are you thinking?

What color do you like? We live in hot and sunny Texas with a south facing wood door and we painted ours royal blue. About 10 years ago. No fading at all. Sherwin WIlliams paint..
