Big hole in the yard, But I want pondless
Comments (5)....your gonna have to fill it in some how. Thats ALOT of rock. I'd hate to see your move the rock in and then later have to move it out, but you might have to now. I dont know how big of a water fall your want, I'd purchase a large plastic horse tank or something similar to use as a catch basin for your waterfall and to hide your return pump.....then just build your waterfall from that up and fill the rest in with rock......Filling that all in with rock...you got quit a job ahead of you....See MoreBig hole in the hosta bed!
Comments (1)Ah, is it very hot where you are now? We have those moments here, but they are usually burying eggs at the base of fence posts where the chunk of cement holding the post, will hold the heat and keep the eggs warmer. They lay them and leave. Perhaps right at that spot she found there was a rock keeping her eggs warm. She probably WAS laying eggs. Tis the season for such things....See MoreBig hole in the road
Comments (2)The only thing i can tell you is that it doesn't get any better, but it sure does get different. You will still hurt because he was ur father, but the pain starts to slowly go away. It may seem that your in this pit and your never going to get out, but you will. All you got to do is take it day by day. I'm sorry, i really don't know what else to say...i was never really good at this stuff.. My grandmother passed away almost a year ago, and i was very very very very close to her. I told her all my secrets and shared thoughts about my future. She was like a mommy to me. Then, one day she died in a horrible way. So, a couple days after she passed away, i was crying in the morning around 5am, and i asked God to give me a sign that she was okay, to give me some kind of proof. I cried myself to sleep. In my dream, i saw myself sleeping and right next to me laying down was my grandmother. I was so shocked, and i was thinking to myself, "how can this be? She's dead!". So, i walked on over to the other side of the bed, and i start crying because it's really her! She looked at me, and she grabbed me hugging me so tight and said, "is this enough proof for you?". And, i didn't know what to say..i was just hugging her and kissing her. Everytime i visit my grandfather i always go into my grandmothers room and just lay there and tell her how much i miss her, how much i miss her hugs. I do believe that your father is up in heaven with my grandmother, and they are surely taking care of eachother. So, don't worry..your father is there with you..you just can't see him :)...See MoreStill Coping with a Big Hole in My Life
Comments (7)Ya Ya, I just saw this. Even though I begged Spike to start this forum, I just haven't had the time to visit it as often as before. I'm so very sorry for the loss of your best friend. I do know that sometimes grief has a way of getting worse as time goes on. Many people think that it always gets better, but that is not always the case. Many times, it gets worse, and then better. I think at first, it is our body's defense mechanism which protects us and allows the grief and sense of loss to creep in gradually. I think we eventually get to a peak and then gradually "accept" (I don't like that word) or "surrender" as I call it, and then feel better as time goes by. I hope that you will find peace and always remember that you will see your loved ones again. Think of them as being on a long, wonderful vacation and you will meet them later on. That's what I try to do with my loss of Christin and my mom. I miss all of you at the Kitchen Table. Maybe I'll try to start visiting more often.
