Comments (7)One year, when I was trying to get rid of this one that invades every pot, I was moving my plants inside for the fall and lo and behold, the cracks in my deck were full of little plantlets growing! I think I finally got rid of them all here at home, but found one growing in with a Euphorbia as I moved my plants outside at work a week ago. They're a cute plant and I grew them for years, but oh such a nuisance! I put one in the ground on the south side of my house years ago and it got to over 3' tall! For some reason, I was compelled to bring it inside, but I was glad I did because it bloomed... I tossed it after that because it got so etoliated and ugly, but I think that year was the beginning of the end for it in my collection because it shedded hundreds of the plantlets and became my nemisis! Comments (4)Looks like frost damage imo. Who knows these plants can do strange things. I have a couple graptoverias that I forgot to move before frosty nites hit that have similar issues. I would leave it alone. Keep your eye on it. Remove all the crispy leaves and check in between the leaves to make sure you didn't bring home me any pests. In a month I would get some good peatless cactus mix (if you can find it) and get either pumice or perlite. Make a mixture of half C&S mix and half perlite or pumice. Also get a pot with good drainage. While you wait to put your plant in the new mix there's no need to water. I don't know where you live, but if it's below freezing keep away from frosty windows. Anymore questions feel free to ask:)...See MoreSOS! Need help with saving my succulents!
Comments (7)Hello Ken, I think there was something in the soil mix that can decay... and probably I gave them a bit too much water. Since they are all sitting indoor, could be that there was not enough ventilation to dry up the potting soil. Perhaps some roots were rotten. God, I hope they won't come back again. I used some potting soil, pumice, akadama and some perlite to make the potting mix....See MoreSucculent with weird stalk and wilting petals?
Comments (3)This plant has brown stalks, and the air roots. But the center stalk on your plant looks dying: it should not be shrivelling and have that black center. And the leaves should not be falling off either. I suspect overwatering/ plant sitting in soggy soil. Is there a drainage hole in that pot? And what kind of soil is it in? If I am right, you should try to root the healthy offshoots before it they get infected. I am saying this according to what I can see in the photo only......See MoreLaura Hultz
