Annie, I saw the image before I read the text in your first post. My first thought was hey who is posting dirty pictures.

More red - our Kawasaki Mule. It's how we get around at our place in upstate PA - 135 acres of forest, rocks and steep hills.

I have a real mule, but I'd like to have one like yours, maire_cate.

Marilyn - it's been a great workhorse for us. You can put it in 4 wheel drive and go over rocks and branches. But the biggest advantage is that we're able to check out most of the property when we go up for a visit. DH and I are no longer able to trek the property the way we did 20 years ago when we bought it. We haul wood for the fireplaces, load it with the chainsaws, tote leaves and other debris and there's a wrench in front that we can use to pull fallen trees out of the way.

But I've always wanted a horse.....
