Hollow area under porcelain plank tile

We recently (3 months ago) installed 47" x 9" 10mm thick porcelain plank tiles throughout our Florida home. The tile (Ashford Truewood Cream Wood Plank Porcelain Tile) has a P.E.I. rating of 4. We installed them with a very thick layer of mud (more than 1" in some areas" because the slab was not level. Since we moved in I have noticed three tiles have a hollow sound under part of the tile, and I believe the tiles in question have a thick mud base. I called my tile installer who said he would lift and replace them. I do have extra tiles and grout but I am not sure if I need to do this, yet. There is no evidence of cracking or weakness other than the hollow sound if you tap on that exact area. I guess I am just really tired of having tradespeople in the house, and If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Am I looking for trouble down the road if I don't get it fixed now?
