Windows Design Dilemma living room

AWKWARD LIVING ROOM LAYOUT

I've been struggling to find a good layout for our living room for years. I can't make sense of the awkward layout. There are three large windows in a bay/alcove and the wall kicks in from there making the couch stick out from the wall. Nothing can be centered due to the wall angles and windows etc, and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Can you stand in the bay and shoot across to the TV area? Can the storage bench in the window be moved out? Can the desk be used behind the loveseat? Is that a real or faux fireplace right of the TV in your first pic?

I've been managing vacation rental properties for 18 years, so first, I'd want to know the maximum number of guests you can sleep here. For starters, in the "day room," do you think people can see the lake itself if they're seated there in regular chairs? If not, you may want to consider a bistro table and chairs at one end to give people more of a perch. At the other end build in an "L" shaped bench that is high enough to afford sight of the water when one sits there. Add a custom table with it for a spot to set down drinks or to play a game of checkers. In the main room, place TV on one of the walls left of the FP. There would probably be less glare if it were immediately left of the FP and not opposite the windows. Seating will depend on the number of guests who may want to sit together to watch a game, etc., so the numbers will help determine what you should do about seating.

IMO the wall where the setional is in the plan is where the TV has to go We need the new floor plan done to scale and yes the measurements of the sectional too Are you open to getting new furniture ? from the drawing the sectional in too big for the space .It also shows a different sectional that what you have so a to scale floor plan all meaurements clearly marked and the sizes of all the furniture you have .

If you notice, in that last photo you posted, there are 4 big dark square or rectangular items hogging all of your wall space in that corner. You'll get a fresh eye on the space if you remove everything but the two sofas and the TV setup. Take out all the wall art too. With the bay empty, put the larger sofa and the area rug there. Take another photo or two and we'll see where the best place for the love is. I think the TV is positioned in the best place, but you may want to put it on a swivel base so it is adjustable. With the two big seating pieces placed, we can begin to bring in other items and re-think the wall art.

I'm going to try to do this soon and update. Need the hubby's help moving the couches and hes not as anxious for a better layout. I appreciate your thoughts on this!
