Being a lover of old and vintage decorating I love the yellow tile. I am wondering if a rectangular porcelain tile in white would look nice with the rectangular yellow tile. Before choosing a paint colour, I would pick a fabric for a roman blind or a shower curtain, then choose a colour from it or choose a creamy white. Blue and yellow are favourite colours of mine. Adding bright towels will keep it cheerful. I hope you will show us after photos.

To post pictures: Create an account for yourself on a photo hosting site like webshots or photobucket. (These are free.) Follow the steps to upload your pictures (from your computer to the site.) Click Save to save the pictures onto the site. If you're on webshots: click on the picture and then click "link to it". Click on the size you want (recommend at least 425) then click on the HTML code as shown below. With the code selected, press Ctrl C (for copy) or right click and click copy if you're on a PC (or do whatever you do to copy on a Mac). Come to your message on Garden Web and right click/Paste or Ctrl V (Paste) or whatever a Mac does for paste. If you're on Photobucket: Click on the picture and it will display the HTML code to post in a forum. I don't have a picture for that but look for the code that starts with "a href" or similar to what's shown above. Follow the same copy/paste steps as above to copy into your GardenWeb message. HTH

After removing as much of the paste as possible, do a coat of Gardz as a primer before painting. It will not interact with any residual paste to protect your paint job. It's available at the Home Depot. Here is a link that might be useful: Gardz

Are you doing a pattern and color in the marmoleum? That would be nice with the neutral laundry. What flooring is in the rest of the house? Since the Voxtorp is a clean, contemporary look you might want to pull some eclectic style from your living space. Before you look for a specific vanity knowing where you’re leaning is helpful. Easiest might be continuing the neutral look with an Ikea vanity like this. You can do it with a corian top and vessel sink. Or these styles would go with log walls. Or a painted vanity , maybe a green that goes with your sofa? Or really eclectic!
