Annie, love the pattern of your chrocheted labor of love. My sister-in law has done many, many lap robes that are distributed to nursing homes, and recently got involved with a local hospital nursery.

Socks, I have done that first puzzle. Haven't done but a few of the shaped type puzzles. They are usually too big for my board.

I always love to see your puzzles, lgmd. You do much tougher ones than I do. My card table is 30"x30", so I cannot go bigger than that.

PS Bits and Pieces sent that first one to me free. I had ordered another called Self Serve which I packed up after a couple days—too hard.

Socks, I order from Bits and Pieces 3 or 4 times a year. 6 to 8 puzzles at a time, sent directly to a sister-in law. When she is done with them, I pick them up and do them. The one I posted yesterday on the Show Me thread came from Walmart. A new brand to me with very interesting subjects in the 500 piece count. The puzzle box is very sturdy and has a sleeve type cover with the subject pic and info on it. Inside is a picture to follow and a zip lock bag for storage of the pieces when you are done. The brand is Dowdle Puzzles.

It’s a Flannel Moth caterpillar. I think the Southern one. I have seen them on the news a few times this year, first time I have seen one in my yard. Better be careful mowing.

I think Iris' caterpillar looks like a tiny, discarded toupee. lol

Like an asp they will sting you and you will think you are on fire. Never ever touch any type of fuzzy, hairy caterpillars they can be a stinging type. My parents taught me that when I was a child and I took it to heart. I have never touched any.

Had one much like that one on the tire of the motorhome right by the door. It stayed put.
