Making a theme from bird, snow, and baseball ....

A bird in the snow, that is fluffed up so that it is round like a baseball

I think this is the cardinal that has been bashing itself against our windows nearly every day for the last couple of years, behavior that I find puzzling.

Party Music, may I have your permission to save your adorable photo of the robin in the birdbath to use in making a card please? It is just perfect for a "Think Spring" or "Welcome Spring" card.

lindaohnowga, my robin and I am flattered! You certainly may, as long as it's only for personal use. If you make the cards to sell, then I'd like a cut of the profit (unless profit goes to charity) and a copy sent to me. :O)

Bigack, your park photo looks like it could have been taken near here! bob_cville, I've read that birds will fly into a window that is too clean, therefore it reflects light and outdoor images perfectly so that they don't recognize it as a barrier. Try putting a sticker on your window to let him know it's not a fly-through area. :)

Thank you Party Music50. I don't make any cards to sell. I make cards to send to our daughter and to friends. I send to a little 8 year old girl who has been battling cancer and thank God she is now in remission. I send to a lady in Ohio who has MS and is completely paralyzed and to a man in MI who is battling cancer. My cards are made only to try to brighten a person's day.

My aunt had a chandelier in her diningroom and cardinals would regularly fly into the window. They would see the reflection of the sun from the crystals. Like Party, maybe your windows are too clean?
