Shower Remodel Affecting Downstairs Condo Unit Water Pressure

Hi all,

I'm on the 2nd floor of a 3 floor condo unit and I'm in the midst of a renovation. The plumber came out on Tuesday to repipe the guest bathroom shower. Today my downstairs neighbor came to my door and shared that his guest bathroom shower lost water pressure since that day. These are shared pipes.

I called my contractor and he suggested that the neighbor needs to clean out his shower head filter and the problem should be fixed. I am a bit weary of this simple fix. Could they have plumbed my shower in such a way that is affecting my neighbors' water pressure? Will a simple filter cleaning fix their issue? I appreciate any insights in the matter.

Thank you!
