See picture below. Home is about 25 years old. We have been here for 12 years. Nothing ever applied to it so far as I know. Can I get rid of this or must it then be sealed somehow to prevent it from coming back....assuing I can get ride of it. My Dad had that speckled rustoleum product put in his garage...looks great except its pealing on place after 5 years. I'd prefer something clear and non slippery if I need to seal it.

Anyway, what do think, whats the right way to fix....steps etc.

The powder is being track onto the driveway and into the house---it has to go.

I tried adding the photo 3X...it shows it on the preview but not when I hit post...I miss gardenweb! Anyway it looks like a chalky substance on a large area mostly under the car.....where water usually accumulated after a wet snow covered car is pulled in.
