I call this the Old Rose. Tried to ID it a couple of times on the Rose Forum, but didn't succeed. A very old woman dug it out of her garden for me 30 years ago. She remembered it from her childhood.

grandma_bonnie....see now when I look at it, I envision myself on his back sticking "my" nose in the flowers. :0) I titled it "Fly with me". This is why I need more feedback....I wonder what other people think and see. My male friend Chris said "trippy". :0)

That is so funny, socks. We used to buy our late lab, Sarge a new chew toy or squeaky something every Christmas. We would carefully hide it while he was outside among the already wrapped packages under the tree with a ribbon around it. Then we would wait to see how long it would take for him to find it. He never messed with any other wrapped gifts. But within 24 hours he managed to smell the one we bought. I guess there is a scent from the pet store or something because he would alert, go to the tree, nose around, then carefully stick his big head under the tree and come out with it in his mouth.
